COVID-19 UPDATE (23/03/2020)

Inevitably, the Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Lecture will not now take place on 28th April as originally scheduled.

The very good news is that our speaker, Lord Patten of Barnes, has advised that he is willing to give the lecture as soon as conditions allow.

Stay safe!

Following the sucess of the Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Lecture last year we are very happy to announce that this years lecture will be given by The Rt Hon The Lord Patten of Barnes CH, PC, who will speak on "The Challenges Facing The European Union and the United Kingdom"

Lord Patten is Chancellor of the University of Oxford and former European Commissioner for External Affairs.  He was the Chairman of the Conservative Party from 1990 to 1992 and the last Governor of Hong Kong from 1992 to 1997.

The lecture will be held jointly with the Bridge Forum Dialogue as well as our usual partners at La Fondation Nationale de la Résistance (FONARES) and the British Embassy.
